About Us

Welcome to Karmically Scripted

Hello and welcome my sisters in life. I am so happy to finally be here with you. We have been a long time in the works but we are finally here and ready to make our mark. We are a different kind of website. Here we focus on the mess of life instead of trying to pretend that it doesn’t exist. We believe that the mess and trials of life are just as important, if not more, than the good. You will find all sorts of things here but most of all you will find understanding, friendship and above all else acceptance.

“We don’t want to take over the world, we just want to make our little piece of it happy and manageable”

Life’s Beautiful Mess

Come one and all to our beautiful mess! Where we cater to the less than the best of ourselves. And celebrate the bad mommy moments, the frustrations and the chaos of life. We are what is left after bad decisions, failed relationships, and painful realities we try to avoid. We are the happy product of the weathered storms of life.

Our Story

"We all have a story. In ours there is no difference between family and friends. If you are one, you are the other as well."

Karmically Scripted started by happy accident. Conceived in a conversation between best friends about how life can sometimes feel scripted. We are firm believers in "what comes around goes around" and POOF! Karmically Scripted is born. Over the years we have grown, changed, temporarily reverted and come back to our senses. Sometimes all in the same day. We are a perpetual work in progress. Now we would like to share that with you. Not only that, we want to hear your stories as well. We want to know the failures, triumphs, and inspirations the weaves the beautiful mess that is you.

"I used to be afraid of the mistakes I made. But I have learned to embrace the mistakes that have made me."

Mary Moodie is a married SAHM with five teenage children. After years of "wishing" to make her mark on the web, she finally found the motivation and created Karmically Scripted. Mary finds motivation and influence from her everyday life and shares thoughts, stories and whatever else comes to mind. Besides her family, Mary has a passionate love of music from all genres and time periods. While she keeps her circle small, she says that she doesn't have any friends, she has family. She believes that life has a way of surprising you with it's magic if you know where to look for it.

"There is always happiness to be found. Sometimes you might have to work for it, but it is there if you look hard enough"
